NZQA Micro-Credential in Methamphetamine Sampling and Screening

NZQA has developed a micro-credential in methamphetamine sampling and screening.  The micro-credential includes the following Unit Standards:

·        30892 – Demonstrate knowledge of methamphetamine contamination of property in New Zealand (level 3, 2 credits).

·        30893 – Demonstrate knowledge of methamphetamine screening sampling in accordance with NZS8510:2017 (level 4, 4 credits).

Cleaning Systems Limited is now one of the few organisations able to provide training towards the NZQA micro-credential through an arrangement with the industry training organisation, Careerforce.  The trainee will be enrolled as a Careerforce trainee throughout the training with Cleaning Systems Limited.  All assessments leading to NZQA qualification will be undertaken by Careerforce and they will report any achieved credits and qualifications to NZQA directly.

Cleaning Systems Limited’s training provides full and detailed coverage of the Unit Standards and more.  The course supports learning and building practical skills and is facilitated by industry experts.  Cleaning Systems Limited offers courses for practitioners who have previously been trained and gained subsequent industry experience, as well as those who are new to sampling and screening.  The course can be tailored on an individual basis by the trainer to suit the need of the trainee in terms of knowledge, training hours and practical skills in order for the trainee to be properly prepared for assessment and meet NZQA requirements.

The cost for the training day and to complete assessment for the NZQA micro-credential is $895 plus GST.  This includes:

·        Course reading materials prior to training and detailed training materials/guides.
